Fusion systems with Benson–Solomon components

چکیده
The Benson–Solomon systems comprise an infinite ascending family of simple exotic fusion at the prime 2. results we prove give significant additional evidence that these are only 2-fusion systems, as conjectured by Solomon. We consider a saturated system F having involution centralizer with component C isomorphic to system, and show under rather general hypotheses cannot be simple. Furthermore, if is almost properties, then next larger extended group field automorphisms. Our situated within Aschbacher’s program provide new proof major part classification finite groups via systems. Common and Distinct Components in Data Fusion
Abstract In many areas of science multiple sets of data are collected pertaining to the same system. Examples are food products which are characterized by different sets of variables, bio-processes which are on-line sampled with different instruments, or biological systems of which different genomics measurements are obtained. Data fusion is concerned with analyzing such sets of data simultaneo...

states are written in the form (s; fqe1 1 ; : : : ; qek k g), where each ei is 1 or + (when the constructor is 0, the component state is omitted). A concrete state a = (s; [r1; :::; rz]) is represented by an abstract state A = (s; fqe1 1 ; :::; qek k g) if the following conditions are satisfied: – ei = + if qi occurs in [r1; : : : ; rz] two or more times; – ei = 1 or ei = + if qi occurs in [r1;...
متن کاملMechanical Multibody Systems with Deformable Components
The multibody system approach provides enhanced models of vehicles , robots, and air-and spacecrafts. Mixed systems consisting of both rigid and deformable bodies are aimed at growing demands for reened simulation. A basic modeling framework for this class of mechanical systems is presented which covers also inelastic material behavior. Moreover, the Diierential-Algebraic Equations (DAEs) obtai...
متن کاملFusion Systems
This is a survey article on the theory of fusion systems, a relatively new area of mathematics with connections to local finite group theory, algebraic topology, and modular representation theory. We first describe the general theory and then look separately at these connections.
